CQ-10 Snowgoose (613c7b39-ca87-5111-867b-289a67ac2592)
The CQ‑10 SnowGoose is a Canadian‑built, unmanned cargo‑delivery UAV operated primarily by U.S. Special Operations Command. Designed originally for precision leaflet drops, the platform now supports a wide range of missions—logistics resupply, medical or food deliveries, fuel transport, and limited ISR—through six modular bays that can carry up to 575 lb (260 kg) of payload. The CQ‑10A uses a parafoil for lift, while the newer CQ‑10B “Bravo” adds an autogyro rotor, granting VTOL capability, four‑times the range, and autonomous launch without ground equipment. It can be launched from HMMWVs, C‑130, C‑141 or C‑17 aircraft and is controlled via SATCOM‑linked ground stations for fully autonomous, GPS/INS‑guided flights.
