MQ-25A Stingray (cf0f4c72-4ec0-58d3-aa4c-f4efcabf08d4)
The Boeing MQ‑25 Stingray (MQ‑25A) is the U.S. Navy’s first operational carrier‑based unmanned aerial refueling system. Powered by a Rolls‑Royce AE 3007N turbofan, the 51‑ft, 75‑ft‑span aircraft carries up to 15,000 lb of fuel and can transfer it to four to six aircraft over a 500‑nmi radius, extending the combat reach of fighters such as the F‑35C, F/A‑18 Super Hornet and E‑2D Hawkeye. Designed for fully autonomous taxi, launch, flight and carrier recovery, the Stingray also supports ISR and communications‑relay missions and is built to accept future upgrades, including AI‑driven capabilities. Operated by the U.S. Navy’s VUQ‑10 squadron, the platform enhances carrier air‑wing endurance while freeing manned assets for strike missions.
