The Teal 2 is a compact, electric‑powered small‑UAS developed by TEAL — a Red Cat Company subsidiary—for the United States. With a 30‑minute endurance and a maximum speed of 37 km/h, it is designed for short‑range intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. Its core payload is a dual‑axis electro‑optical/infrared gimbal housing a FLIR Hadron 640R sensor, delivering high‑resolution thermal imaging across multiple palettes (White Hot, Black Hot, Arctic, etc.). The platform is MAVLink‑compliant, runs on an open‑architecture framework that can host AI/ML modules such as Athena, and secures all data links with AES‑256 encryption. Unarmed, the Teal 2 provides real‑time situational awareness, target detection and tracking for U.S. operators.
