The Gatral is an Iranian‑produced unmanned aerial vehicle built by INA. Powered by an electric motor, it can remain aloft for up to ten hours and cruise at a maximum speed of 180 km/h, carrying a 25 kg payload. Though listed without an integrated weapon system, its payload capacity enables a range of non‑lethal mission kits such as electro‑optical/infrared sensors, communications relays, and other intelligence‑, surveillance‑, and reconnaissance (ISR) equipment. Deployed by the Islamic Republic of Iran, the platform is intended for persistent, long‑duration monitoring of terrain and strategic areas, providing commanders with real‑time situational awareness and data collection capabilities across the nation’s airspace.
