Shahed 191 (Saegheh-2) (eb2d9c04-1d38-5735-a019-dce0d28f67db)
The Shahed 191 (Saegheh‑2) is an Iranian flying‑wing UCAV produced by HESA’s Shahed Aviation Industries for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force. Reverse‑engineered from the captured U.S. RQ‑170 Sentinel, it is roughly 60 % of the original’s size and incorporates a frontal air intake, retractable landing skids and an internal weapons bay for two Sadid‑1 precision‑guided missiles (≈ 50 kg payload). With a 500 kg take‑off weight, 350 km/h max speed, 1 500 km range and 4½‑hour endurance, the drone can operate up to 7 620 m altitude. Since its 2016 entry into service, Saegheh‑2 has been employed in IRGC strike missions in Syria and was the model shot down during the 2018 Iran‑Israel air incident.
